Independent Writing

This week we have talked behaviors during independent writing such as staying on task, how to use the writing tools, not disrupting others working around you. We have also started learning about the writing process. The first step we have learned about is planning. Writers should: Think of a story, plan how the story will go, and sketch pictures and label. Parents remind your child of the planning stage when they are writing at home.

Esta semana hemos hablado de los comportamientos durante la escritura independiente, como concentrarse en la tarea, cómo utilizar las herramientas de escritura, no causar trastornos a otras personas que trabajan a su alrededor. También hemos empezado a aprender sobre el proceso de escritura. El primer paso que hemos aprendido acerca es la planificación. Los escritores deben: Piense en una historia, plan de cómo la historia va a ir, y los cuadros de dibujo y etiqueta. Los padres recuerdan a su hijo del personal de planificación cuando se está escribiendo en su casa.
